Scrum Team

A small (≤10) cross-functional team consisting of one Scrum Master, one Product Owner, and Developers. Renamed "Agile Team" in SAFe and "Feature Team" in LeSS.

The Scrum Team is the fundamental unit of Scrum — cohesive, self-managing, and accountable for delivering a valuable Increment each Sprint. Replaced the older "Development Team" concept in the 2020 Scrum Guide. SAFe organizes the same unit as 5–11-person Agile Teams within an ART (and may use Scrum, Kanban, or a hybrid); LeSS requires it to be a cross-component Feature Team; Nexus preserves the Scrum Team form for each of its 3–9 teams.
