Epic

A large body of work — a formal Portfolio artifact in SAFe, informal and PBI-level elsewhere.

SAFe defines Epic as a formal Portfolio-level artifact with a Lean Business Case and WSJF priority. Scrum, LeSS, and Nexus use "Epic" informally for large PBIs with no framework status.
